opinions on wrx turbos

i picked up a wrx turbo for $150 with less than 5k's miles on it, i was woundering what your all's opinion of these turbos was, has anyone ever used one on a 240? any one know where they spool up about? sean you drove xian's car...where did the turbo start to hit at? later-Tim

got weird exhuast flanges if memory serves. It should be an IHI right? Those are very reponsive in the aftermarket, not sure about OE Subie.

turbo came on at about 3k if I remember right...I'll just have to go drive it again to make sure!:D lol...

with a few basic supporting mods (exhaust, no cats), the stock wrx turbo comes online much before 3k.
