opinions on turbo setups on a r32 rb26

wassup guys, i am about to take ownership of a 92 gtr and i was wondering what u guys think about a nice street (noo lag), daily driver setup on the 26. i cant stress to u how much i dont want a massive snail for a stock block bcz i just plan on puttin in cams and injectors and thats about it.so with that sayed what do u think about a gt30 wit a big back such as a .82/1.06 or even a gt35 with a .63 back? im not lookin for major power but sumthing that fun to drive on the street thanxthanks

try a gtk 550. that a great turbo and looks sick under the hood

he is right, but should you change your bistons and connecting rods and oil pump, if you want use TOMEI

GTK 550 is perfect and its not expensive like T88 or T51r,

yea but , im not tryin to change any internals, just cams maybe, but i dont want to go into the motor at all...just looking for something that will give me a nice response which a STOCK bottom end....also, where would i find a downpipe for a top mount setup?

no not trying to deal wit that...ive herd and seen too many horror storys about going into tha bottom end and dealing with tha bearings n stuff...i just want nice power stock

go into your bottom end and do some work on the oil system, otherwise i guarantee it wont last long. I went through it a few weeks ago and now i have to tear the engine out and rebuild. I am also looking for some turbos, gonna keep it twin turbo. I was thinking HKS GT SS turbos. any one used these before or know anything about them?

no im not going into my bottom end period....bearing clearances and all that s**t i dont want to deal wit on the 26's.....as for tha tha gtss's my friend has em on his r34 and IT IS FRICKIN REDICULOUS....im telling u 3rd gear and he press's out, u cant focus on anything and u def cant reach for s**t, it plants u to tha back seat and ....yea u get tha point lol
