I am going to be in the process of rebuilding my engine and putting it all back in the right way. I am going to turbo the ka beast so i wanted some opinions on theese and any others, i personally dont want the greddy kit, but i like the kit in the last link, seems to be waht i would put together myself for about the same money.

F-Max = turbogenics = Crap

Greddy kit if you want to spend allot and get a little (power that it)

The HOT IMPORT PERFORMANCE - that turbo mani looks allot like the SSA mani which is crap...but overall that kit looks nice.

Nsport is nice, didn’t hear any bad things about them….

the problems i see with the NSport is it comes with a cheap BOV and it also runs a FMU so if you ever want to turn up the boost you are going to have to upgrade the fuel system. but the biggest complaint ive seen about the nsport kit is shipping problems. some people have waited for this kit to ship for 6 months when told it will ship in 1 month. Im not sure if this problem has been resolved yet but i would definatley look into it.I'll be able to tell you about the hotimportperformance kit because i ordered their stage 2 kit last week and it should be shipping out within the next couple days. i was also conserned about the manifold but the manifold, turbo, and downpipe all come with a one yr warranty so thats nice. plus i havent really seen any problems with the manifold as far as cracking.

plus im also going to get the flange on the manifold cut between the runners to reduce stress from expanding and I'll also get the welds looked at by a professional. ill also port whatever needs it myself. one thing about the hotimportperformance kit that you need to know is that some welding is required for flanges on the dp and the flange for the BOV. if you are interested in their kit i would send them an email because they are very flexible with the kit not to mention the prices are amazing

If you have the money, get the OS GIken turbo kit. Also comes in different stages. Prepare to shell out atleast 5G's tho

He did respond rather quickly, I’m impressed.I got a slightly different answer

my question is the manifold pictured the actual one I am going to get?

Who is the manufacture of the manifold?

their response Yes it is,we manufactuer the manifolds in house now!

^^^ he misspelled manufacture…:tisk:

so are they or are they not the manufacturer

And if the mani is the same one as SSA then it’s a POS…but it has a 1 year warranty which is very good, considering the life span of the average SSA mani is 3 months..

well if you have a guy that will weld anything, he can make you a custom stainless steel intake mani for 300-400 bucks...

i am seriously liking that stage 3 kit ALOT!!! all the parts are top quality, except for maybe the manifold, ive heard its an SSA mani, and ive heard mixed reviews about that, otherwise a custom intake manifold, and some valvetrain itll be awesome. Off the subject-I went to the FormulaD today at irwindale speedway, kicked ***, now i NEED to get this car working in order to have ANY chance of being that good.
