444cc injectors are good for about 280whp max so the GT28R would match well with them. If you had cams, I would suggest bumping up to 550cc's to get the most out of the turbo.

thanks for the info on the injectors, but considering i got them for free it would be no big deal to buy new ones later on, im kinda considering getting one of the diy log mani's on ebay for our motors and just going with a t3/t4, thoughts on that?

T3/T4 would give you a much broader choice of turbo's, but will also substantially increase your cost of the setup due to purchasing an external wastegate and the custom fabrication that needs to be done to connect the turbo to the downpipe. I have no idea what your expenses are like, so that may not even matter, but it's the most flexible way to go.

well like i said, i would be running a log style manifold but i could actually get a 35mm tial wastegate off my friend for like $100. so like $100 for that, plus $150 for the manifold kit and like wat $500 for the turbo, thats like e750 there. plus the extra piping/flanges for the downpipe and wastegate dump $100, so like $850 that seem about right?

2871 is a bit too laggy without cams and tune. But that is a pretty serious street setup you have there. You could consider a HKS2510. Not laggy and still enough headroom to support 300-325whp. Need those bigger injectors tho. If final goal is over that, go with Chris's suggestion: T3/T4.

rly consider it a serious street setup? lol even with 300hp i feel like the underdog around here. some of my friends are running over 500whp in civics, street driven.
