2000 I30t with 140k mi. It's time for new struts/shocks on all four corners. With the mileage, I'm sure the springs are getting tired as well. I know Tokico is original equipment, but I think think the touring addition used slightly different valving in the struts for a tighter ride. Does anyone know if the Tokico HP's are equivalent to what would have been installed on the 't'?

That being said, here is what I am considering:a) Tokico HP's with Eibach Pro-kit lowering springsb) Tokico HP's with B&G S2 lowering springsc) B&G S2K suspension kit (springs, struts/shocks)d) Tokico Illumina's with Eibach Pro-kit lowering springse) Tokico Illumina's with B&G S2 lowering springs

Are the Illumina's worth the extra money over the HP's (roughly $150 for the set)

I liked the way the car road and handled when I got it 5 years ago, so I don't need anything 'track ready'. I also don't want to end up with springs that end up sagging after a year. Please let me know what you guys have used, prefer to use or recommend other then I've listed above.

I have no idea if the HPs are equivalent to stock.

You might take a look at this for what people are running. zerothread/233308
