Opinions on Nitto 555 tires?

Hey guys

Im about to buy some new nitto tires, 555s to be exact. Just wondering how you guys liked em.....

I know a lot of guys run em here, so thats why im asking... Im also awaiting some nasty 265-40-18s, bridgestone RE050s

I have them on my Z..

Not quite as sticky as I would like due to 300 treadwear rating.

But they hold up under abuse..

I also have them on my Z. They have put up with a lot of abuse over their lifespan and they still perform perfectly. They are surprising good in the rain as well. I would highly recommend these tires for the Z.

It hard to relate with so much time passing but I dont think so.They arent bad or anything..

they have rep of gripping well when fully warmed up

have them on the front of my s14 235/45/17 and im happy with them and the price

i run the 555r type II 275/40/17 in the back they stick very nice

Thanks for the replies, I think im going to pull the trigger.... im getting a set of 225-45-18s for about $3 short of what most would consider rape .

you mean OEM 350Z?no those r04's seem stickier to me..
