I'm still torn.I love my Spec V,and every time I see a G20 I almost break my neck looking at it.LOL I'm not on any time frame that I have to worry about.I just wanted to get some opinions from you fine people.

I'm thinking about keeping the Spec V because I can work on it now and later when I get tired of it maby then Ill get a G20.(or G35)

No decision yet though.;)

Bubba1 has a nice 350Z in his garage, Dane. You should see it, it is sweet.

I think you should go for the G20 just for the sole purpose of being one of the rareist boosted cars on the road, along with being one of the best looking. Although that Spec V is pretty impressive also. But, its a boosted G20. :Drooling

I would get the G20T and drop a SR20DET in it (bluebird, pulsar gti) and if you find a 5 speed one, even better. THe Spec V seems to bee too inconsistent, especially in SCC where they had to towel wrap the Knock sensor, take out the balance shafts. I wouldn't want to mess with all that and just buy parts for the SR that I know work already, since its been out so long. And you can probably as someone said outhandle the Spec V anyway.

I wouldnt get a G20 if it was an auto.Im looking at only 99-02 G20t 5-speeds.

If I do the G20 I will be adding a turbo kit to the stock US SR20DE motor.

My Spec V is really strong.I got in in mid to late 02 so its not one of the first ones that i've herd people having problems with.

The only way a G20 will out handel a Spec V is if its got aftermarket suspension. The Spec V from the factory is an awesome handeling car.

You are right about the fact that we all know what a SR can do and what parts to put on one vs the QR being uncharted.;)
