i am planning on getting new wheels and i want to try something, 17x7.5 with a +32 offset. if my thinking is right they will stick out 17 mm or 5/8 inch (less than the width od a dime) more than my current 17x7 +42. how do you think it will look???

pic for reference...

I personally love low offset wheels. If you pick the right wheel and the car is lowered just right, a low offset can look absolutely amazing. Of course I come from the Honda scene and the low offset style is really big over there.

What wheels are you looking at?

Might be more economical to just try spacers for now? Good quality spacers are perfectly safe to use. And you're talking about 10mm difference anyway, which is really not much so you wouldn't even need longer wheel studs.

i do have 10mm spacers, but i would only get MAYBE 3 full threads with my lug nuts. besides i really want new wheels.
