I would like to get some opinions on the East Bear headlights. I've seen many s15 and "lazy eye" conversions, but I wanted to be different. What is you opinion?

Try your best to find the ones that have a cover over them. If you search you wil see there have been quite a few threads on these and other comparable lights. There is one kit that is quite nice.

EDIT: upon searching for the headlights I was looking for it seems the link is down so I can't find an example. My appologies.

the east bear lights are expenseive and dont work well. the lights are recessed to far back to actually be effective. and they are open. ABFlug makes a kit, but good luck finding one, and if you do, its expensive. The ABFlug kit is closed though.

I personally do not like them ... the popups grew on me and now I would never give them up!

but if you like them go for it

just my thought... I am not fan of them. .

I've seen few kinds of headlight pictures before.(I' couldn't find it now though)You can choose one of them.

- anyone knows the address of that(headlight series) thread?I searched for "headlight" "headlight picture" "Photo"but I couldn't find it. That thread has pictures andcould be good example for headlight talk.

I wouldnt mind, but theres a better option from taka kaira, its a pop up light, but you can get projectors in there with an adapter thingy, much nicer and more effective.-cheteast bear and abflug are both ungodly expensive for what they are....lights. they light up a road when its dark..I mean...you can get a hella h4 conversion from PDM for like 150.

So I've said this before and I'll say it again: All-Round!

Makes for an interesting alternative to East-Bear or AbFlug. The kits sell for about $350-575 and you can find them through Taka Kaira Inc. http://takakaira.com/aerokits/aerokitindex.asp (although the site doesn't seem to be working at the moment.:( )

Haven't seen those before. Thanks dr!ft! I was looking at headlight conversions for my 89, but oh so unfortunately will have to settle on the triple projector silvia front clip arriving on Monday. Justin

I wonder if you could pop the main headlight out and retro-fit a HID projector from a BMW or Audi in there.. for the AB Flug or the Taka kit.

Yeah, if I ever get around to buying an S13, I would love to put the All-Round Light Kit III on. (third from top, on the page)

On a second note: Damn! Taka-kaira's still down! (does it work for anyone else?) And I love that site too!
