I have a 1984 300ZX with a well-beefed up suspension. My RE71's are finally history so it is time for some new rubber. This is not a daily driver so durability isn't a big deal, I want the most stick for the buck. SO3's seem to be the best choice, although there is a BF Goodrich in the 225/50 15 size that i run. Any opinion?

I assume you mean 225-50-16? thats the Z31 turbo size...

either way, the s03 is a heck of a tire, all around. I know more people than I can count who love them on their sports cars(m3, porshes, etc)-chet

Nope, this is a NA Z, the only 84 that had 16" rims was the Anniversary Edition, this car has 15x6.5" rims, the 225's fit nicely. The turbo Z's moved up to the 16" rims standard in 86'.

Thanks for the info, I think these are the tires I'm going to get!
