Opinions on another Max.

Just found this.. Tell me what you think. I don't know a whole lot about pricing Maximas so what you guys offer for this? Its not too far of a drive for me, I just havet o make sure it will last with 204k.. Hope it has been maintained pretty good.

The price isn't bad, but the mileage would scare me away. I would say search for topics created by the poster to see if they have posted any threads about problems...but you can't do that on the .org.

I was looking for a Max (bought a motorcycle instead ) and would say, there are better deals out there, maybe $500-$700 more, but 50-80k less. That's an easy decision to me.

I think I remember you saying you went to UT but were moving or something? I just never hear anything about any meets in Knoxville..thought maybe another K-Town member might.

Not a problem. Yes, I still live in Knoxville and am a senior at UT. I'm a little out west of campus though - Weisgarber/Papermill area.

As for any meets, I haven't been to one yet. There are some general import gatherings every now and then (or there were in the summer) but between work, school, and travel I was never able to make them. I know a couple guys from Maxima.org would head out there, but when others couldn't make the haphazard schedule they got all pissy and decided to act like hormonal women about it. But that's another story..

Anyways, I'm thinking once the warm months come back around that there'll be more interest. In any case, I'm willing to meet up at any time, provided I'm in town and not schooling or working. There are quite a few East TN'ers here, perhaps we can organize something.
