Opinions on 1997 - 2000 Qx4 Mufflers.

I am looking to purchase a new muffler for my 99.5’ Qx4. I have heard good things about the Flowmaster super 40 series. Any comments?

i had one on my previous 4runner, it was cool and all but it got annoying and loud. i went offroading one day and scraped the bottom and got a hole. i replaced it with the original. i felt no power difference even with the bigger piping.

Thank you, Nissandoms Infinitidood, I think your best bet is a gigantic fart tip. Not TOO loud, no performance gain or loss, and you will get that nice fart noise you're looking for. Girls from your high school will flock to your Pathfinder once they hear your burly fart tip from a mile away. I think the 4" yellow one would fit your needs well.

I have a Magnaflow with 2.75" pipes. Its not too loud but is a lot deeper than stock. Plus I could tell the difference in acceleration...retard
