I've ben digging around a little bit and have a good idea so far about these motors. I am about to aquire an s14 with a rb25 swap. i usually don't like getting a car like this pre assembled, but i at least had part in it when i assembled the bottom end. i am coming off a high hp 4 cylinder. due to some of the circustances in the trade i am keeping my gt35r with a .63 ar turbine housing. it's practically brand new and in great shape.

it's built with wiseco pistons and eagle rods. the turbo i have was capable of 600 whp on the QR, but i am aware that flow characteristics are different on every moor. i don't plan on ever going over 600 whp on this car.

here's where the opinions come in... what would be your next move? i don't have unlimited funds, i will eventually upgrade the mani, but most bang for the buck wise...should i just stick with stock turbo for now? bolt on the 35r to the stock mani? and then what about a wg....weld a flange on or use one of the adaptors? i'd like to get the most out of it right now with the least amount spent. i also have 750cc injectors and power fc....so fuel and tuning are covered. sorry for the lengthy post.....and thanks for any input

edit* i also have a spearco meth kit and nitrous wet fogger kit to add into the equation! LOL

Ensure it runs properly stock. No issues such as spark/fuel or vacuum leaks! once you got that done. I agree with the turbo upgrade with 7-10 lbs of boost tuned. Start it off easy untill you know your engine can handle the abuse it will get. Good luck to ya and post up some damn pics! If you end up going intake manifold. Don't cheap out get the greddy! rawbrokerage style!

I agree with KUILLIN_DRIFTER, Start off slow. Stock turbo for now to get it running correct.

I personally would weld a Wastegate flange in the stock mani and fab it to work. There is a few guys on here that has went well over 500Hp with it.

Good Luck!!

hmmm...so stock mani, gt35r and meth / nitrous should be able to make over 500? my goal is the 550-600 range....then i'm done

i'm not too worried about going to fast...i'm a slow mover anyway. will try to get used to it at the track before i swap the turbo....but also...this ain't my first rodeo, so i have no fears about upgrading...everything is in the tune.
