Allright, I've done many systems but this is just the first time running cable thru the firewall on my 240... (Im not one that likes drilling into my pannels)

just out of curiousity, where did everyone else run their wires through? Now Im not running 4 gauge or nething... but was anyone able to successfully find a grommit that could be used to safely pass say... a couple 18 gauge wires? if so, which one?

what else was going thru that hole, and better yet, finnally, are their any plugs that can be removed for easier travel through the firewall?

thanks: Jon

Ummm passenger side, right by the firewall there's a grommet that comes out under the passenger side sort of behind the glove box, I ran some 4 gauge through there...

yeah you should be good with a location around the ecu, follow the harness and look for the big rubber boot, might be able to get a cable through the boot, if not just look where it comes out in the engine bay and see if anythings close, if not drill away. One tip if you plan on doing acouple installs for you, your friends and whatnot, I'd definatly invest in a Unibit.

I just ran some wire throught the pass isde grommet yesterday. All it is is the grommet that holds your engine wiring harness and it has an inch to spare all the way around. Just cut a small slit/hole and run whatever you need. I have boost gauge line and 4 gauge line run through it.
