Monday nite a guy in a pick up lost his brakes and used my Q45 to stop his truck. So I'm looking for another Q.

Found an interesting one on ebay.

Ouch! Hope no one was hurt! Was it stopped/parked at the time?

What a co-winky-dink....

I was about to go over there today to check it out for myself. I've been itching to buy a G50 and see what all the "fuss" is about.

I will let you know my thought on this car later tonight...

szhosain, thanks for the message.

I was stopped at an intersection waiting for the light to turn green, the guy even had to change lanes to hit me.

Spent about 4 hours in the ER, good news is no broken bones although I almost passed out from the pain in my spine. Lots of drugs and several days at home are the plans for the next week. After that it is thearpy for months and months...

Gotta say I am really angery that I will probably lose my Q as a total. I hope the previous owner doesn't have time to read all the new posts, he would be as disappointed as I am about this loss.

DuDro Great!!

The car looks really clean from the pics, but the salesman has no idea what maintenance has been done. Worst cast is all the suspension & drive train will need to be rebuilt or replaced.

Let me know what you think.

The current owner should be able to pull up the service records from the dealer.

Yeah, Nick's Q... I'm really bummed.

Got a repair estimate of $5600 today from the only Infiniti authorized body shop in town.

I can tell there is going to be a tough battle with the insurance company getting a fair value out of this car.

Fortunately, Nick sent me a file full of repair receipts for the suspension and the dealer replaced engine at 50K miles. The car now has 102K so that engine is still very fresh. And the car is in perfect condition.

Man, I can't beleive how pissed I am that some dumb truck hit me because he lost his brakes. What is the likelyhood that a brake system would fail without warning?

I almost suspect that the guy knew his brakes were going out, but he figured he could get by a little longer, he lost his gamble and I get to help pay his debt.

Hey Wes, that would be one wild ride!!

Is your's a 94? If I ever needed to changes engines, would my 91 engine fit into a 94?

Are most of the 91 parts the same as a 94's parts?

What kinda of price are you looking at?

Hey DuDro did you buy a Q45? Just noticed that the one in the link to the ebay auction ended early

You could make the engine fit, but my engine actualyl has less miles than yours... I probably want more than you want to pay

By the time I got there, they had closed

I just saw that their eBay ad reads "Sale Pending". From what I could tell by peering through the glass, the exterior looks really nice.

What a steal for $3K!!!

Ever since I read the "MPH article" on the G50, I've been searching for one. It will be fun to have a G50 next to my F50.

I hope I can convince the guy that parks next to me in the garage to change spaces so that I can have both of them together....

BTW...I performed a search through AutoTrader and there appears to be a few "gems" in the SoCal area.

I believe two of them are "Active". Take a look on AutoTrader....

actually, the proper way to describe that would be that you would like your G50 to sit next to your F50..

G may not come before F in the alphabet, but it does in mine.

FWIW, they listed it as having Traction Control, but there were no heated seats nor TCS buttons in the console.
