Price or Offer?Went and looked at this today.94 240sx se convertablered78,000 milesauto3rd owner1st owner wrecked it, was rebuilt, all body lines look good.carpet is dirty, seats badly worn need repalced front and back.ffront has paint chips some kinda big, some door dings on passenger side.Everything else looks ok but motor has a loud timing chain guide clicking (imagine that).What would you guys offer?

have it checked before you are buying. make sure the frame isnt off, they can fix the body but the frame may have damage

Keep in mind that convertibles are worth substantially more, for some reason, than regular 240's.

They are worth more, they were a pretty limited production, not sure on the total production numbers for convertables, I think 94 was about 1400 or so.

I would say no more then 3k if it was mint.

I dont know if you look at e-bay most converts are going well over 3k. but in that condition I would say no more than $3500 and that sounds kinda high. Just say you have to pay a mechanic to check it out and you have to replace the sound of death. that should bump it down a good bit. Of course give her retail prices, which im sure you know that already.
