We are looking at a 2008 G35 Journey. It seems to be in excellent condition. Being sold by a Lexus dealer so not CPO. 3 and 1 month old. 22000 miles. Full service history. They put a fresh set of Michelin Primacy's on it.

What would be a fair price for this car?

From recently looking at g35's ( I just bought a 2007) a 2008 with 20000k on it should go for between 26-29k depending on options. 2007's are a lot cheaper.

This one did not have a lot of options. Had sunroof, automatic headlights, xenons, but I think those are part of journey package. No iPod, no bluetooth, no navigation. Regular 17" wheels, no aero package. No homelink. No autodimming mirrors. Pretty basic, but in very good condition. The leather was pristine, so was the rest of the interior - didn't see any scuff marks or anything like that. Drove better than the other used ones I tried out.

Given the basic spec, do you still think it is a good deal at $23.3k? They also make a $695 doc fee.

Thanks for the reply. What would be a good price for the 2007?

$22K for 2008 with 20K miles would be a great negotiated price.
$23K for 2008 with 20K miles would be a good negotiated price.

Thanks.

Do you mean 22k for 2007 with 20k, and 23k for 2008 with 20k?

Id say 23 for a 2008 is a great price (even though it really doesn't have any of the features that make it really nice). 20-21k is a good price for a 2007.
