opinion on headlight lightbulbs

i just wonted to know your guys opinion on lightbulbs and brands to use for my Z32. i really wont to put hids on my car but i dont have the money. what do you guys sagest i use other then the ugly stock headlight bulbs lol? or should i just stop being cheap and get the hids! one more thing if you guys have pictures of your car with the lightbulbs can you please post them so i can see what they look like. thanks for reading. sorry for the bad grammer.

I have the Sylvania "Cool Blue's" on my Z. I didn't want to spend the extra money for the "SilverStar's," which I believe are the best halogen bulbs out there. Here is the best pic of my Z that I could find with the Cool Blue's.

I've used Silverstars and liked the look and the light quality over stock halogen bulbs. They just don't last long enough to offset the cost in my opinion. Recently I heard of the GE Nighthawk bulbs. I may try them out soon.

hey jerry i got my clear corners. Now im looking for the philips clear silver vision light bulbs so i can decrease the orange look within the lens.Do u know where i can get those?i checked out a few websites but it seems like they are all in the UK

I just wonted to say thanks to everyone for the help, but i think im going to listen to NSRz32 and just get the hids, they are worth the money. My friend just put some on hes s14 today and dam they look sexy lol! I think hes was 4000k or somthing like that not sure. When I get the hids which ones should i get? I really dont wont anything thats to blue or purple.

Stay below 6000k, anything above that and you will start getting bluish and purplish tints. When I get HID's, I will probably get 4300k.

HID's are pretty much where it's at, but if you don't want to spend the money, I also suggest the Sylverstars. They are pretty much the best damn bulb you can get under an HID. You'll notice a huge difference over stock halogens.
