Hey everyone, I found these rims and wanted to get some feedback from everyone. I am looking for 17". If I keep the car white I will have rims painted white as well. If I go black I am considering Gold. What do ya think?

I like 'em, if you get the right offset.

White? NO WAY. Too 80's.

Gold? Eh. They look great in silver and gunmetal.

White could look good, did on my coupe at one time. Maybe the black top might interfer though.

I like them.

I agree with Greg - go with silver or grey.

It looks like Gullflame to me, but Gullflames looks cleaner with less holes in the center. What's the name of this wheel and who makes it if you don't mind. It's a nice rim. I like it a lot. Size and offset look good too. I would say bronze or gun metal. Can't go wrong with silver though.

gunmetal and silver look good on either black or white.

gold looks good on black or white - but only if the white has some gold flake/pearl (in my opinion)

black looks good on white, especially with black top.

white looks good on race cars (ie. rally or road race). 'nuff said there.

They are JIC Magic J-Force 07 http://www.jic-magic.com/Searc...heels

As far as color combos. I've been leaning towards painting the car black and trying to get a Camel/Tan top made. I would lean towards matching the rims to the top color. Interior would then be a combo of black and tan. Not sure. Still a bit of a toss up. White would happen if money gets too tight and I just want it done to drive. Sorry Dexter.. I've never been a big fan of black rims (although yours did have a nice look. Just not what I would pick for my own.

My other choices are either a Nismo 5 spoke or the Bee R 7 spoke (having difficulty finding a dealer who sells them).... I'll keep ya'll posted on the out come. Keep sending though... the feedback is great and gives me something to think about ... big purchase so I would love the input before I drop $400 + per rim.. (ouch)...

Hitman as far as offset goes... I kinda thinking of putting a little roll on the fenders to open them up a bit and look for a stagger look. I have a Silvia front end (triples and GTR grille) and love a nice squatted look from front. I am searching for a nice body kit as well... but that's a whole other story...

My steps are to get fenders rolled and figure out offsets. Not a big roll, just enough to put some... what I call shoulders... on her to break up the body lines a bit (I like my girls with some curves..READ - not fat chick like - just curvy..lol). Hope to do suspension and rims close together to complete look.

Thanks for the input gang.

^ Agreed, I liked mine when I had all white rims, except for the keeping them clean. And as I mentioned before having the top a different color may throw everything off.

I thought about a camel/tan top when I replaced mine but my interior is grey leather and didn't want to redo that. Black and Tan is a cool color combo though....and a damn fine beer too!

I'm telling you white on white is just gorgeous.

I think I've seen this car in some magazine under Reader's Ride section a couple of years ago. It was a running shot. Am I right biggie? If not, there's another guy in GA having very similar car like yours.

Black/Tan combo should be very nice. Never seen one, but can find some Mustangs and Miatas with that combo. Not bad at all.

Yes, it was in SCC (like 3-4 years ago). I bought it from him about 2.5 years ago when he went into the AF and after my old coupe was ran over by an 18-wheeler.

Haha!! I have that issue somewhere. Didn't know it was that long ago. Time flies. What I remember is SCC said it was the very first running shot from a reader. You know... I drooled over that car a lot. You posted your car before, but I thought it was a different car with a similar front bumper. Besides, I thought that car was still in GA.

Someone should photoshop black/tan combo, so GoingTopless and we can get some idea. We've seen black/maroon combo.

Yeah the pic is still around the internet. And its funny I've had to go to GA for my last 2 240s.

Black and tan is an awesome combo - no photoshop needed. It looked great on every car I've seen it on.

Most cars that have this combo are fat and/or round(Mustang & Miata). 240 vert is slim and sharp, so it's gonna look killer.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I found a top company that offers a Tan top in Stayfast and a Buckskin (color is closer to camel) in Vinyl. The price is pretty nice (around $400). They are sending me some swatches of the material to see how it looks in real life (monitors are flukey with colors sometimes). I know Stayfast is better fabric and I may get one of both, but I want to really see colors against black background to get better idea. If all goes well I may have a Black Vert also (to add to the ranks), although mine has been converted to Silvia front end. If that happens I may be getting the rims and painting them to match top (or close). Interior will follow theme with black and tan. I will keep ya'all posted on progress.

I have also considered some NISMO 5 spoke rims as well... any thoughts on those?.. I'm worried they've been done to death tho..http://is.rely.net/3-98-4124-l...w.jpg

Hmm.. even more expensive.. going wrong way with these..or possibly these.. I love these.. just seem harder to get
