That's how I'm reading it too.

Thanks for the heads up on Rubber BTW. I haven't seen it. It looks awesome!

A joke, yes. I appreciate people's freedom to do what they want with their cars. I might not like a lot of it, nor understand the "awesome" about it but people are gunna do what they think is stylish. Slammed looks good...not when the car is literally dragging down the street. The two Altimas that parked next to us at Carlisle were sick. If I had one (which I considered before my MS3) I'd do something similar. Never saw under the hood though, not that it matters.

I guess my point is exactly what DJ said, it's a joke at the scene because it's losing that style. Instead it's a bunch of rot boxes with cut springs and stuffed animals dangling from their cars...kinda hard to see the awesome in that and it takes no skill to ruin a car...or gain StreetCred.

This thread was for everyone to have a laugh at the scene. :chuckle:
Maybe this video will help everyone understand a little more...

BTW, it's rot boxes with crap mods because of where you live. GTFO NY. Seriously. They should just burn the whole state down and start over. It's the only place I can think of where the Zombie Apocalypse would improve living conditions and raise the average IQ.

Can I vinyl drop the whole front windshield? I assume you can see through it like window tint, right? Otherwise it would be illegal in Cali and we can't have that.

Been quiet for a little bit here.
Still thinking about what the next addition should be...

...Any thoughts?
All will be carefully considered (unless it it outright rude/nsfw/offensive)
The object is to have fun with it...not offend. :nono:

What is something that you people thought would be fun or funny but wouldn't do to your own car? Lets hear these ideas! :chuckle:

Plasti-slapped (yes, slapped, not dipped) wheels/hubcaps are being considered.
I also have a sweet ricer spoiler in my basement...also considering.

Yes...

YES...

And MOAR YES!!!!

Zomg kittiezz!!

We need one of those extendable intake tube things, throw the injen cone out the front bumper. Streetcred the metal on it.

External rollcage would be badass. Esp in hot pink. Finish truckbedlining the car.

this is a great idea for the weekend. We need tube stock pronto!!!!

Sorry for the thread falling towards the way-side.
I've been insanely busy the past couple weeks and have had no time to play with the car.
Tonight I'm going to try and pull the EGR and EGR Tube to clean them.
The car has been very sluggish, also I haven't driven it in a good couple weeks.
Last time she was fired up she was poppin and having a horrible time trying to start up.
Backfired a couple times (sounded like it came out the intake) and fired up after another attempt.

I've had numerous issues with the P0400 - Evap System Malfunction and P0440 - Knock Sensor codes.
Seeing the car has ~180,000 miles on it without any engine work...I think it's time.
Had a cracked KS that I removed for a few months and popped in a resistor with no luck.
I eventually replaced the sensor with a new OEM.
I've check just about every sensor on the EVAP system...minus the in-tank sensor.
When the car tosses the codes all power is lost as the car reverts to full blown retarded.

If anyone has any other thoughts about what might help the issues, let me know.
I'll post a video of what the start-up sounds like before pulling the EGR.

First sounds like the starter isn't making contact with the flywheel.
Then it starts making that banging sound.
Thinking that the starter is starting to engage/make contact with the flywheel.
In which case, I'll be pulling the starter...again.

What gets me is that the banging and popping doesn't sound like it is just metal to metal.
Sometimes it'll backfire from the front of the car, almost like it's out the intake. :tisk:

Meh. I'll be taking a look at it this week hopefully.
Now that all my time isn't going to be sapped by travel for work.
