I've yet to see a cam that's worth the $$. The cost per HP is way high. I'd go headers and high-flow cats first.

OK, I have to jump in on this thread because some questions with upgrading have been perplexing me lately. First off, I have an 05 6mt w/ the jwt/ztube and the 5/16 spacer/mrev2. I have been debating the exhaust for quite a while. As I'm rounding out my late 20s, I am starting to hate the "uber" loud exhausts...especially since I now live down town off our local circuit which all the cars w/ fart cans and absurdly loud sound systems drive. The sound samples I heard of the Borla and Stillen exhausts sound great. The Stillen..according to other posts has more hp but the Borla + headers is around the same price.

Initially, I figured the Borla was the way to go since it was a true dual exhaust... of which I mean no Y pipe. I figured if the dual exhaust funnels into a Y-pipe then it is no longer a true dual exhaust. Also, Borla catback with headers is 50 state legal. I live in PA which now has emissions tests. I recently read a post about how the Y-pipe isn't a negative and therefore should not be considered a negative. Can't remember the post off hand but the poster said to do the math with the displacement and at that point.......well, I was convinced.

Anywho...back to where this response falls in line with the origional post. I think I'm now going to go with the Stillen catback/ypipe. Should I go for the Stillen headers or the Borla since the Borla is 50 state legal and the Stillen is not. Anyone see any issues or have the same setup? I'm not concerned about the install costs of the headers cause I have a guy that does the work for a great price and would rather install both headers and exhaust at the same time.

Thanks in advance.

i'm still supporting the UR crank pulley!

HUGE difference at lowere rpms. kinda like drive a V8. great pull!!!!

i know people are hesitant about this mod so i'll be the guinea pig.... not that i'd put a mod on my car that i haven't researched HEAVILY!

i've got them all since i've joined the BEST SITE! see my sig below!

i'm still waiting to run against a coupe or a Z (or anything else for that matter) to test all of my mods.

i don't think i'll be disappointed! my friend's a cop and he said my car has more pull and better handling than his cop pcar!
