Mikhail! It's Russian, but still, you might be able to get away with it.

If you did name him Nicholas, you can nickname him Nico. I doubt the mom would like that

Here are some of my favorites

Xavier

Forrest

Killian

Alexandre

Or if you really want to be unique and you have twin boys you could always go with:

Tomax and Xamot

Zartan would be cool too.

If you used Lukas instead of Luke, would you still hate it? Figured that might work as a compromise between you and your wife. I tend to like more traditional names like John and Eric (both family names) but there are a few that are less traditional like Torsten (means store of Thor), Caden, Kristian, and Max. Congratulations on the news!

Give him an overtly gay name:

AidenBradenJayden

Then you can force him to become a warrior by subjecting him to bullying. That, or he'll resent you for the rest of his life.

If I was your kid and you gave me a last name as a first name re: Cameron, I'd strangle you with my umbilical cord when I popped out.

Chase? Naming your son after a bank?? If you're into money, perhapsBuckBill (as in Dollar)

I'm surprised no one suggested NICO...

some other possibilities:

Bubba (ok I might be biased) Max (was my maternal grandfather's name. Very cool.)

Haywood Jablowme

Jabooka Muhammad

Buster Hyman ( expecting your boy to be a stud)

Lance Ramrod

Studly Hungwell

Seiously, I've always felt that parents should try to pick a name that other kids are less likely to tease about. Unusual names can be rough on an adolescent.

Another idea is the jewish tradition of naming your child after a deceased relative that lived a very good life or that you loved.
