open hatch from inside?

my cable is either broken or not hooked up. no keys. how do i open this thing up from the inside?

find the cable somewhere and pull it. there is no emergency realease or anything.

Did you try using the key from the outside?Did you try the release from the left side of the drivers seat?

If not you will have to pull the plastic paneling off from the inside and get it from the trunk. You will have to damage the paneling to get it off though...

And when you get the hatch open, loosen the locking mechanism, and push down on it. It should drop a few mm, and your hatch-unlocking handle will work again.
