That's an amazing rumble. I cranked Q1 up once with the exhaust off from the pre-cats back. Talk about neighbors coming outside to see the grinning redneck with jackstands

Damn listen to that rumble even at idle. SEXY! Driving around like that would have people crapping their pants when you blow past em like "What the hell just blew my doors off?"

OMG!!!

That sounds horrible! I like the sound of the idle, but in the second clip, did you notice the rattle like sound that it created at higher RPMs. That would get extremely annoying.

It would definitely sound better with a set of high flow mufflers. It would be cool if you could get to sound more like an American V8.

Well, we have a theory on the pinging sound... when I took it to a shop to get the pre-mufflers and cats taken off, they used 1 3/4" OD tubing... and we figure its just the resonating frequency of that tubing that is causing the pinging sound. But, you guys should get to have a vid clip HOPEFULLY tomorrow of just driving around, it sounds so insane at just cruising through city speeds, I mean, it sounds so close to the 4.6L out of the Mustangs its scary.

Isn't the exhaust 2 1/4 or 2 1/2?

Could you just make an audio clip next time. Some of us are on Dial-up and it takes a really long time to download video files.

Or, could you make a standard video clip with audio, post that. And then just take the audio from the video clip and post that. That would give those of us who are bandwidth challenged a viable option.

Yeah I can do that. And, they used the 1 3/4" from where the tips of the cats are, to the ends of the pre-mufflers. The stock tubing is 2"
