i was wondering if this was possible. i have a 5 speed 93 altima and the transmission code is RS5F50A: meaning it's an open differential. i'm wanting to convert it to the RS5F50V but am curious if i would have to change out the transmission or if the LSD would bolt right up. i know i would have to replace the axles. kinda new in this particular field and broadening my knowledge. any input is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance :bigthumb:

Hate to tell you, but from everything I have seen, you would need the entire transmission. The bearing on the lsd diff is much larger on the drivers side...

You might be able to get away with using the engine side of the transmission bell housing, but still might require machine work.
