Open diff question

Got an open diff in my 95' 250 and wanted to weld it but i dont have a welder. do you think jb weld would be enough to hold or should i try somethin else? suggestions?

firstly I would really think twice before doing this because you will have a tougher time maneuvering in a parking lot than you think not to mention those rainy days. but if you insist on permanently locking the rear then a real welder is the only thing thats gonna do the trick nothing else is going to be close to strong enough to do the job

i have access to a spare so i was thinkin about trying it. ill be getting a 1.5 diff just wanted to mess around with somethin new for a bit.

Manuvering in a parking lot would be the least of your worries with a welded diff. Chances are, you probably won't make more than a few turns before something breaks. Diffs are there so your drive wheels can turn at different speeds when taking corners, without it, there is a lot of stress that would be placed on the driveline. I'd wait for the 1.5 way.
