ok so i got tein coilovers for my 240 and put them on. i have a camber kit on it too. well the thing is i lowered it and its rubbing so i'd like some input on whether i should just leave it (its not rubbing TOO bad), OR just raise it, get some new wheels, and camber it out. as of now its my DD, but i plan on DDing it and doing some weekend drifting. any ideas?Thanks...

well my rear fenders are rolled, but not the front. it's not rubbing the fenders at all, just the wheel well. oh and i fogot to mention that there are some wires running from the inside of the car to the engine bay, and they run through the wheel well and the wheel is starting to fray them. is there any way to run them under the fender but not through the wheel well? ill put up pics in a minute, lemme go take some...

do that asap. once that harness is damaged you are in for one helluva mess. and if its on the inner side maybe you need some spacers

Bad offset wheels that are bigger than it should be will rub once lowered.

If you have the funds, get new wheels, buy smaller tires, or get spacers. I don't think there's any other way around it.

can use spacers. they would make the wheels more flush while brining them away from he inner fender. do that or get better wheels

as everyone said. relocate asap! or else you'll have problems

either move them higher in the fender or do it the right way, through the engine bay.

all i did was remove the fender, hammer the body under it down a bit and made a nice spot for the harness to lay in, then used some small gauge wire i had laying around to tie it snugly in place out of harms way.you should do the same, but before tthat make absolutely sure all wires are intact and none have worn through anywhere.you should be good to go then.

The easiest option would be to raise it. Is there part where it rubbed through your paint and now it's rusting there? That'd ridiculous.

As everyone said, relocate your harness immediately.

Well see, i already thought about spacers (which i will eventually get), but the rubbing is occuring at the top of the wheel and not the inner side. UNLESS the ppl that commented on spacers meant, move the wheel out with them and move the harness in more...i tried to figure it out today but until i get it off of the ramps, i wont be able to get the wheel off to try for real. but anyway thanks all of you for your help. tomorrow when i get home from school ill get it down (because its FINALLY fixed!) and give it a go. ill be sure to put up some pics too...thanks.
