Ummm...

How could the driver not have seen that coming with a drop that big? People amaze me daily with their stupidity. We are all going to die.

Yes we are. But hopefully not any time soon.

And not to much amazes me anymore. Was the driver a man or a woman?

What's really sad is he/she will press a lawsuit against the school or whoever owns that land and claim that there weren't proper signs/protections to prevent them from doing that. And they'll probably win a settlement too.

If you look closely, you can see that it was a MAN driving the car. A MAN is standing there with the police officer explaining his stupidity. There are just as many bad MALE drivers as there are women. There is a reason that insurance companies charge more for male drivers than they do women.

LOL!

"Well, you see officer, I had an argument with my girl today. I didn't remember what she was wearing on our 7th date and she just kind of freaked out at me, and I developed a small embolism, which popped just as I was crossing the parking lot..."

"Yes sir officer, I know unbelievable .... she said she was in the parking lot (100 yards up the hill) and as she started to back out of the parking space the car went forward, jumped the curbed, went across the courtyard, she missed the kids playing on the swing set, through the wishing pond/fountain, over the 3 benches and it finally stopped right where it sits now."

"Oh, well she said as she was backing out it started to roll forward so she gave it more gas to get it going backwards and no matter how hard she pressed the gas it kept going the wrong way??"

"Sorry officer, but she was wondering how long this will take, she's late for an appointment"

<-- (runs and hides)

NICOmom would've cleared the embankment, landed on all four wheels, and driven off in a cloud of dust laughing hysterically.

The driver in the pic obviously didn't fully commit to "doing it right".

LOL. I think I caught it right after it had happened. The cop showed up on the scene as I was gawking, and from my observation it seemed that it was an older man who was driving it.

Above the wall, where the car was, is a gas station with an asphalt lot. There are parking spaces lined up there on the edge, with no concrete blocks in front of them. Either the guy let it roll, mistook the gas pedal for the brake, or one of any other possible scenarios and landed his hyundai where it's standing on its nose.

But the car was gone today.. LOL.

Thats Great. Good thing we don't have drop offs like that near our parking lot.

At teh risk of offending NICOmom, He was standing there explaining what he saw the female driver doing when she went over the edge. (talkign on the cell phone, or putting her make up on.) The female is probally at the ER getting her lip stick removed from her left nostrial. Now I am just joking.

Just because a person doesn't get into an accident doesn't mean he/she can drive. Driving at 10mph below speed limit while everyone is cutting you off is not considered a good driver in my dictionary.
