oops.....made a retarded mistake.

So my motor is in the car. Decided to call it a night and clean when I noticed a certain part that I did not put on and really should have. I totally forgot to put the metal "gasket" that goes in between the block and the transmission. Any chance I can get away with not using it. or should I just man up and pull the transmission and put it on. I'll get some pics up of the motor in the car soon. Thanks guys...

i would suggest you put it on,your throw out bearing to pressure plate clearence will not be the same and you might not fully disengage thus causing you clutch to go bye bye
