This is a beautiful Q45a!

Check it out at ...

I believe it's the same car that was being sold by another person on eBay a few weeks ago. It didn't sell as a private seller.

I wonder what's wrong with the car. Hmmmm.....

You'd be one of the few on your block to own a Barney Pruple car?

I really like that rare color. The FY33 standard wheels are good too, just not any very high performance tires available.

I've been watching it. This is its third consecutive dealer listing. They originally wanted $6500, buyitnow, then relisted it with a reserve and got a $4050 bid, reserve not met. Now it's listed at a $5565 buyitnow. Nice car, but they want too much for it. Gonna need recharged accumulators, at least.

Your right about that. I'm running Falken Ziex ZE-512, 255/50ZR-16 99W. http://www.discounttiredirect....ar=50 I got them at Discount Tires. It the only ones they have. They are ok and they're cheap. I think next time I need tires, I will have to get 225/60/16 as I wont be able to get those Falkens any more.

Gorgeous car...

I'd be concerned about corrosion, given its "home", but it's a beauty!

What size are your 16s? 6.5, 7, or 7.5?

I think 7.5. The Hitman sold me these rims and he had the same tires on them.

I looked at that car while in illinois, they bought if from a ebayer in michigan, this car really looks good if you like purple, drives great and was offered to me for $4,200.00 which I passed on in favor of 94 with active suspension and 96K miles that has every shop record since new, and lots of recent service, however if someone is interested in this car..... I have the shops number

Unless I am mistaken, those are after market Fittipauldi wheels on this Q (Emerson Fittipauldi once raced as F 1 driver, representing his home country of Brazil - the probable winner of upcoming World Cup.) I have similar wheels on my 92 Q, which I bought in 95 from dealer with 23K miles on the clock. When current set of Pilots were installed, mechanic said that these were "the truest wheels he had ever worked with." But, boy are they a real B***H to keep clean! I am looking for a set of Z32 wheels to replace these, finding it more and more difficult to find that many tire options. I listened to Q45 tech and put the 235 H Pilots on, and they are at 35K with maybe another 15K before wear bars show. Cannot complain.

The Q with 123K now resides in NM high desert and is used only for long road trips, where it excells, the next one being July trip to San Antonio, about 700 miles from here. From El Paso to San Antonio is 100 mph plus cruising and no one to hassle you! That is, if you remember to top off the gas tank in Ft Stockton, there not being lots of fuel stops out there in West Texas!

Take care of your Q, and it will take care of you!

They are 16x7. You can go to 245/50-16 on them (like Avon Tech M500), but you will be a wee bit short.

I love Idaho, Utah, NM and west TX roads. The Q45 do also.

If you are in the high part up north or even Albuquerque, there is a shorter way.
