U-shape on the passenger side right on the backside of the plenum?

Edit: watch this vid at the the 25 sec mark if that's what you see it's normal and they deleted/bypassed the water lines under the plenum.

Nissan over engineered the car. They had a bunch of hard water lines under the plenum that were suppose to help keep the throttle bodies from potentially freezing in extreme cold.

If they are passenger side one smaller than the other it sounds like a/c was deleted, the water hard lines from the firewall are center.

If the two outlets in the firewall middle have no hoses to them, then is seems that the heater core is not hooked up and the owner bypassed it back to the block...probably means the heater core is leaking, as I did this myself temporarily until I fixed mine in my NA years ago.
The AC hardlines lines on the passenger side firewall are only about 1/4 inch or less in diameter and pressurized (refrigerant) and with no hoses, the coolant hardlines are about 5/8 inch or more in diameter and angle down slightly along the firewall and towards the passenger side.
