Could it just be the sound of the water coming off the tires and hitting the wheel wells? It doesn't make sense that it happens only when it rains if its just air.

Sometimes makes a roaring sound, or a loud sound like the air has picked up under the car. I noticed it was much loud in a 240 then any other car i've had.

If your 240 is in good enough condition to where there are no rattles/moans/groans to the point that you can hear excess "air" under the car... you're doing pretty good.

I think if it doesn't thave splash shields all that rains will hit metal shell. That's how my car is. Its loud but just sounds like only rain water splashing

Put pillows in your quarter panel. :P
That might kill some of the noise.
