Today, I noticed that my passenger headlight does not turn on in low beam mode. The high beam works.
I replaced the bulb, but that did not seem to fix the problem.

I checked the fuses under the hood in the smaller fuse box, but didn't notice anything burnt. I didn't see headlights mentioned in the diagram on the cover.

I don't know much about fixing cars and it took me a while to figure out how to change the bulb (the headlight sticky helped a lot). I keep hearing about the relay when searching this issue, but I have no idea what/where that is. Could the relay be the cause of this problem?

Thanks for the help.

Edit: The daytime running lights work too.

Possible the stalk/switch on the steering column has went bad. Give you are '09, take it to the dealer, should be covered I'd guess.

Thanks. I tried turning the switch in different ways, but it didn't seem to do anything.
We bought the Versa in January, and it only has about 3200 KM on it, so it's still fairly new.

If the switch is bad the only way to test is with a meter on the wires or replacing it. Again, would take to the dealer.

It seems to have been a bad relay.

When I changed the bulb and took it back out again today to put back the factory bulb, I noticed that the silver tip part of the bulb was melted and the glass was a little burnt with an orange tint.
The socket didn't look like it would let me put the bulb in improperly. Could this have been caused by the bad relay? Thanks.

I am having a similar problem , my right front high beam light 9003 bulb does not go on. The bulb is new , the old one still worked when tested so it is not the bulb. I replaced the connector and it makes no diffrence. My connector measures about 11.5 voltsto both sides at once when the high beam should be on. both bulbs and connectors are good

Which relay controls the highbeam light, the fuzes are good and were is it and how can I replace it.relay ?

by the way my dealer Turdking blew me away --goodwill , who needs it eh?

thanks

glad the video helped out. that's EXACTLY why it was created. Most of the ones from that YouTube account are listed on NissanVersaTech.com also (FYI).
