Only 1 volt through blue accessory wire

I am hooking up a new stereo, and I am only getting < 1 volt through the blue-with-white-dots accessory wire. The battery leads are 12V. This is with the car (s13se) turned off with the key in the "accessory" position.

The ACC wire is label as "L" ......in the FSM, If Im not mistaken that stands for blue....

Yeah. Sounds like you've got one of the speaker wires.

Don't forget to run the ground wire from the stereo to a good ground somewhere on the chassis. Seems like this trips up quite a few people.
