it is possible that the guides have never been changed, even with that many miles. when i had mine changed with just over 100k, the drivers side guide was toast, completely gone! luckily for me the pieces fell harmlessly into the pan and didn't get stuck anywhere. for whatever reason, it's usually the drivers side guide that goes first. if the guide is gone, and didn't get lodged anywhere, the engine will still be ok, but with your mileage there IS slack in the chain and the risk of it jumping is good. as long as you're not sure about the guides, i'd advise against alot of WOT runs. kinda hard advice to follow when you're driving around in a beast like the Q!!!!
