One wheel drive?

Yo im interested in buying a 240sx fastback 90'. Well my friend from work is selling one for 1200, with a KA24DE 5 spd. well n e way the car runs clean. But he was telling me that only one rear wheel how power to it? Sort of like a One wheel drive?, I donno about that..so im kind of skeptical. and he told me something like oh yea after a while the other wheel starts to kick in or some BS....i dont know if its really like that but if anything, if somethings wrong with it, it 'd be nice to see what u guys have to say thx

hes just talkin about one wheel having power for some reason....i think its the right. Just regular driving like lets say ur at a stop sign and u peel out, only one rear wheel will peel out, the other will stay still tilll the cars in motion.

thats normal for a car with out lsd lolwhen your making a turn the outside wheer is going farther in distance then the inside tire so they cant have the same power going to them

He's talking about open differentials. It's not 1 wheel drive tho.

I do have to agree with that though..... anyone who has ever gotten a 240(with an open diff) stuck in the snow :angry/mud7: its only 1 wheel drive!!!

Similar to some AWD cars, the 240's 1WD is only "part time".
