Guys - so I can sleep at night, can someone confirm for me that the 07 G35 only has the one touch feature when rolling the window down and not up. When I pull the window button up I feel an extra click but the window does not roll up automatically, I have to hold the button.

In my Alty the one touch windows worked up as well as down for both the driver and passenger side windows.

Thanks.

If you're talking about the interior window switch, then YES it does have an auto UP feature. Your switch is probably bad.

Unless they changed it in 07...

I thought he was talking abot the key button door unlock function.

I think mine has a one touch option to go up in the car... I'll check at lunch.

My switches inside definitely one-touch up and down...sadly the keyfob only rolls 'em down.

The device only cost you like 30-40 bucks and it would roll up to. Kp technologies got one.

My 03 is like this as well. It has had glitches though, like when you go to roll it up it goes all the way up then back down about 4 inches and parks itself there (drivers side only on internal switch, passeneger side is unaffected), this seems to be resolved by some mystery reset switch somewhere the dealer knows about but I have yet to find.

I thought so based on the extra click I feel when I hold the button in the up position. Ok so leaky sunroof and one touch window - up - not working. Appointment book for next Thursday.

Thanks for all your help.

Holy smokes.....did some searching and came across another, ahem, G site, that had the one touch window issue as a sticky. There is a reset procedure that fixed my problem.

Just a thought after reading your last post. If you hold the switch up too long it goes into "manual" mode and doesn't do the auto thing. Try clicking it up and releasing quickly. I have found that the auto down is easier to get right the first time than the auto up. Just takes some getting used to.

haha....i went with a different moniker so as not to get discovered.

One touch window reset:

Step 1: Roll window all the way down and hold button down for 5 seconds

Step 2: Roll window all the way up and hold button up for 5 seconds

Step3: Drink beer

for the g35's up to 06, if the window comes back down after going up on auto it needs a window motor. if you reset it, it might work for a while but it will end up doing it again. for the 07 g35s you can set it with the switch, we had a few come in from the factory that we had to set

Another trick I just learned that you guys may already know but thought I would share anyway.

Since we have a push button ignition, when you shut off the car all auxillary power (radio, bluetooth etc) is also turned off. If you want to shut off your car but keep auxillary power, press the ignition button twice quickly. The car shuts off but the radio stays on and you can finish your phone call without having to use the handset.

Hope you find the info useful.

Cheers.
