One touch sunroof

I was thinking about how lame it was for Nissan to take away the one touch sunroof on the late 94+ models. So obviously what I am getting at is, can I go find the sunroof dome controls from an early model car and get the one touch feature I missed out on? Or, is this a lan thing that can not be changed? A search on this topic came up with nothing about this. Thanks.

I think its as simple as getting the motor and switch from a 1990-1994 Q45.

But I could be wrong and if so feel free to look at the service manual.

I will see what I can do about getting my sun roof to be auto-close (One step ahead of you). (Project 5 I think).

quick question if you know do the rear doors have power locks and mine dont work or are there no power locks in the rear?

thanks ill have to check this out more when i have time i got a few lil things that dont work in the interior

On the 1994-1996 (Possibly 1997+) there is a diagnostic mode you can enter that will tell you what electrical parts in the interior are bad.

Read Pages EL-111-EL-120 in the 1994 Q45 Service manual which Lino pointed out to you.

And of course like I said you can diagnose more than the Power doors, you can see ALL the electrical parts in the interior that are bad becase you have a BCM (Body Control Module).

I dont think they changed the motor, besides one touch would have nothing to do with the motor, its all in the switch..

I havent done it, but id say that it'd work..

Actually Wes there are relays inside the motor assembly that have to match up with the switch.



Either way 90-93 Q45 part outs people will get rich off this idea.

The wife was a little rough with the sunroof switch on the 94Q today and broke the handle off. I put in my spare from a 91Q and I now have a one-touch sunroof. Pinout is the same on both switches but the P/N's are different.

90-93Q 25450-60U00 (one touch)94-96Q 25450-67U00

I don't understand.

When I got my 94 Q the knob for the sunroof was broken so I replaced it with a 92 Q switch and it would not work correctly. In order for the roof to move back I had to move the switch no more than half-way... and it was not automatic.

But thanks for the heads up. I will look for one from a 91 Q. Really like one-touch open.

i have a q45 95 an im have the problem with my back windows an my passender windos those same side the locks and passenger seat does not slid recently installed a stereo and an intake.any ideas..
