i got a new set of wheels and tires. i asked on here and i was told that they would fit, and they do, except for the left front. the left front rubs against the strut. it is only that one corner though. what could cause this? all of the tires are inflated. Whats up?

they are 18x7.5, +42 offset. 225/40/18 tires

Sounds like something is bent... get the alignment checked.

Double check the back side of the wheels to make sure they are all the +42 offset. Wouldn't be the first time that a wheel was mis-boxed. Then, it's off to the collision center. Has the car been wrecked, that you are aware of??

dmanit, yes the car has been wrecked on the front corner that im having the problem with. i forgot about that. that could be the problem. i will check the wheel first to amke sure its not that, and if its not that then what would most likely be bent? strut, steering knuckle, or control arm?

probably the lower strut housing or the LCA would be my guess, it would be something cusuing either the tire to sit too far in, or causing more negative camber..
