But one step closer to my blacktop SR20det! woot - woot!

I just sent my downpayment to Robert at projectsilvia. I should have my front clip in 8weeks. Maybe 4 or 6 if I'm lucky. This will be my first swap so i am kinda nervous. I am trying to decide between FMIC or suspension and just run on stock boost for a while.

Any suggestions - Is there a logical order for the upgrades that I am just not thinking about?

r u gonna have money for a boost controller? If not, i'd hold off on the FMIC. In fact, i'd just drive stock for awhile to get used to her....my vote goes to suspension

I am just gunna get a manual boost controler for now. Not a bad idea to "break in" the motor before turning up the boost. It will also give me time to educate myself on turbos in general. I have messed with suspensions quite a bit so i would be better off doing that first.

i wouldnt go manual boost controler if i was you....figure you just spent all this money on the engine....do you really want to screw up the motor. if i was you i would go with the apexi boost controler....its kinda expensive but so worth it. just what i think.

there's absolutely nothing wrong with a manual boost controller!!! in fact they can be more reliable than those fancy schmancy electric ones :D

Yeah I wouldn't go start talking bad about manual controllers. I will get a AVC-R when I have the cash but my little manual bc does the job fine for the time being. It cost me 0 dollars and I haven't seen a sign of boost spiking. Also I wouldn't turn up the boost until you upgarde the intercooler in some way.

Suspension.

Ever driven a turbo charged car before? If not, then DEFINITELY get the suspension done.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will be doing the suspension first then. It is a daily driver so I am thinking about adjustable struts (kyb or koni) and Eibach sportlines. I don't want to give up the ride quality for coilovers. I'll also do F&R sways and strut tower bars. What do you think?

Dang, you must be going all out!

I am planning on blacktop swap, FMIC, full exhaust, struts and springs, and VLSD for less than $7k
