The oil dipstick!! What was Nissan thinking. I can work a Rubik's Cube and solve world hunger before I can get the thing back in the hole. (I will refrain from the dirty joke so I am not banned from this forum)

Tis true, dipstick is the hardest thing to get back in. Even after you get it started it gets kinked sometimes, etc.

It comes with the age. I remeber the first time.... LOL

Anyways you should get rid of her and get a younger one. The youngers are more practical. LOL

We still talking about the G right? ................RIGHT.

Newer G sedan and coupe are easier to access. Lot smoother to put the stick in the hole. You can do it with closed eyes.

Yea you are right the 07's and newer are alot easier. No offense to any ladies on this forum. I tried to buy a new G but the dealership here would not give me any type of trade on my car. It is a 2006 G35 Sedan with the premium package, sat radio, etc. They offered 16,000 and would only go up to 18,000. Oh yea and it only has 28,000 miles.

I pay someone else to do it... I know it's shameful but I haven't had to touch it myself... There is nothing wrong with paying for it either... We all pay for it indirectly...

It's not that hard to get back in. It's easier than a big truck with the small diameter tube that's as high as the manifold.

The one thing I hate is my paint.

Amen to that. The front air dam and the hood are impossible to keep in good condition. The rest of my car looks excellent, and it's black, but the front looks like hell.

Infiniti admited their paint was bad when they imtroduced "self healing" paint... hopefully the aftermarket paint will hold up better in the front...

It will. I had my front bumper repainted and not a single scratch/chip. 10x better than OEM.

+1 for aftermarket paint. I didn't have a problem with my front bumper, but I've had my front and rear bumper replaced and/or repainted due to other circumstances and it's held up wonderfully, which is making me heavily consider repainting the whole car. Not only will it look better afterwards, but the car will then have better protection against rust in the future.
