Soapy water and a toothbrush, and some compressed air (hook a small nozzle to your compressor).

I'd start out dry with a shop vacuum and a detail brush- wash the mud down into those cracks as a last resort.

I just purchased a Shark, that does steam at target. That thing rocks, nothing is better than heat and a small brush.....

The brush in the middle. You can buy them at WamMart for about $3.

I keep one in my center console......Use the rubberized pointy end to clean out the cracks without scratching, then brush the crap away with the other end.

Canned air for the win! Also good for the vents too.

I use those from time to time, but a lot of times I've found i've needed a brush that's a little courser to get into some real hard to reach places that can't be disassembled when detailing cars.
