Well I put in my new injectors today(370cc) and I figured out that one of my old injectors had a broken peice of plastic on the bottom of the injector. This broken piece of plastic is floating around somewhere in my fuel lines or where ever it may be. How bad is this?

Also ever since I put the new injectors in, the car doesnt idle properly. When I do get the car to run there is a crap load of white smoke rolling out the exhaust. My wideband reads 17.5 a/f when it is at +50 and if I tune it down then the wideband doesnt even read it. That doesnt seem right since everyone safc tune that I have seen has been in the negatives. +50 just doesnt seem right anyways.

My stupid wastegate and blow off valve seem to not be working. I say this since I cant hear them when I drive. My bov is hooked up to the fpr vacuum and my wastegate is hooked up to where the internal wastegate use to be hooked up. Am I suppose to do something with the internal wastegate flap? I just left it alone and I dont know if that is causing me to not hold boost.

I wonder what will be next. I seem to be having the worst luck right now and to top that off I am leaving to go to guam in 3 weeks. All I want to do is drive my car.

I am pretty sure I will be able to thing of more stuff that is screwed up on the car.

This is my setupt3 super 60safc II370ccwalbro fuel pumpgreddy type rs bovtial wastegate 10 psihks evc IV

Can anyone help?Thanks

At idle you should be taking away fuel not adding it, so the numbers should be in the negative, not positive on the SAFC. You don't add fuel till you come on boost.

i have a t3 super 60 too with tial w/g, if ur running external w/g then u need to block off the hole where the flap goes. are u still running the stock dump pipe or do u have a 5 bolt discharge flange. if the hole is not completly shut, you won't be able to boost.

Nismo FreakIt was running like that before I put the injectors in. I will pull the injectors out and check again. Do I have to get new orings if they are ok?

wdracingIf I take fuel away the car will die and the wideband will read 18. what would cause me to have to give it fuel when I am at idle and thru out every rpm when I am not in boostI have a 3 bolt flange. I seem to be hitting boost when I get to about 3500-4000 rpm I get up to like 6 psi. when the car is at wot.

I just took the internal wastegate off. I didnt do anything with the flap at all Am I suppose to take the flap out? Can I just leave it the way it is?

Makes no sense. At +50 adding fuel he has injectors that are clogged. Think we are thinking backward sbecause usually it is too rich liek tore injector. Means either injectors are bad, or signal isn't getting to them to open.

One of the 4 prongs or what ever you call it broke off and is floating somewhere can that cause it to make me add fuel since it could be blocking something? The stock injectors worked perfectly fine until I put the safc in. Even with the stock injectors that worked fine before the turbo process now work like crap. So I changed the injectors to 370cc and they work the same as the old ones other then my a/f is at 13 but I am still adding fuel before boost. I will put some injector cleaner in to try to clean them and see what that does but I do not think that the injectors are clogged. I will check the safc wiring again to be sure it is wired right, but I know it is I checked it 5 times already.

My wife was driving behind me and said there was some black smoke coming out the exhaust. I think that was when I changed gears.

Is it possible that when I lifted up my motor to take my oil pan off I messed somthing up? I lifted the engine as high as it would go, then a few more pumps to get it a little higher.

On all the safc tunes I seen on nico they were all tuned in the negative numbers. Is this how it is suppose to be or are you also suppose to have positve numbers? This is just so I can get a ideal on how my tune is suppsoe to be.
