That's awesome. Again, I'd support less "options" on the dashboard as well as less empty space in each post.

While we're at it, can we shorten up some of the "signatures"? (No offense, sz - it's just that it takes up valuable reading space, especially if everyone does it.) Perhaps if we could click on each person's screen name and see their profile, mods, etc AND a pic of their ride???

Fred,

Yours is way too short!

Thanks to Nancy and SD for keeping the old board up I have downloaded Dennis' first 200 and last 64 posts and put them in a word file with almost no editing. Kind of like a stream of Q consciousness.

Now if someone would just do the Infiniti Mechanic's section.

I will see if Dennis wants to edit them or will let me distribute them to the members here. Can convert to Acrobat file format also.

Must get repetititive stress syndrome relief therapy.

Fred,

I know you are a moderator, but could you make your signature a little more......umm....horizontal?

It sure takes a lot of vertical screen space and necessitates a lot of scrolling to get to the next message and new information.

Tough for me right now with the repetititive index finger stress pattern.

Thanks.

I have a 1990 Silver-Blue Infiniti Q45 with blue leather interior. I cannot find new floor mats anywhere. My local Infiniti dealer tells me that they only make them now in black, white, grey and beige. He suggested buying beige ones and getting someone to dye them. What do you guys think? Any ideas/suggestions? Let me know.

Call Joe Tesensky Scottsdale Infiniti . If he can't get them, then you need to go upmarket for custom mats. YOu will be able to match color closely, but perhaps not oem style.

Thanks for the recommendation but looks like i was right. No blue mats. Guess I'll have to get custom ones made :( Oh well. Any suggestions to a good custom infiniti accessory guy? Thanks again

Does anyone know where to get a factory steering wheel cover? I don't really wanna pay 800 bucks for the whole steering wheel. Maybe I should change my ID to AlwaysNeedsParts. :)

Blue - Most of the guys here who have bad steering wheel leather have gone with one of the leather lace-on covers (I think wheelskins is the name). They have most colors to match the Q interiors, cost a TON less than a new wheel and best of all once installed are hardly noticeable.

Sorry to hear about your wheel - I'm praying mine holds up, but in Phoenix that's asking for a lot.

I just went on their website and think I'm gonna get a cover. I'm not too disappointed though. When you've had a car for 248,000 miles you expect to replace some interior accessories. :)
