Hi All,

I may have the chance to pick up a one piece Inland Empire driveshaft from a local seller off of a parts car. The driveshaft is out of a 2+2 same as mine but it is for a manual and I have an automatic. Both cards are NA stock. Will the manual shaft fit an automatic housing? I am also assuming the diff housings will be the same on both transmission types? I am no driveshaft expert but had the car in for some brake work and am seeing a lot of play in the carrier bearing and it's only a matter of time...

Thanks,

Evan

No, will not fit. It has a different yoke and the length is different. The differential is the same if that helps. Just keep an eye out for an Auto shaft. NA auto's shaft are basically one of a kind.

Thanks for the reply. Just my luck though. Was a sweet deal.
