I installed a R200V LSD from a 240sx and now im having a problem with my tail-staft seal leaking on the trans. I got a quote from a local drive line shop here in Orlando for a custom one pice steel drive shaft for $265. Or do you guys know of a fix to make the drive shaft not touch the seal?

maybe use the driveshaft out of the car from the rear-end, or from a 240 with ABS?

Isn't it about 3/4 of an inch too long? I know mine is too long, I cant remember how much though...I'll have it cut, rewelded, and balanced. That's not a bad price for a one piece though!

Edit: it's too long because of the ABS ring on the differential.

thanks guys I wanted to get the rear shaft until the guy that was taking out the R200V at the junkyard cut it into to get me the diff! He gave me the diff with a cut drive shaft! ole well. I like the idea of the one piece but its made of steel and will rust!!

you can get an aluminum driveshaft from places like HT or enjuku. I think the downtime is a week for them to make it, but it's supposed to be around 8lbs. Now that's awesome.

Is it leaking because the drive shaft doesnt fit, or because you damaged the seal when removing and installing the shaft? A busted seal is cheap and easy to replace.

I have the one piece drive shaft from Enjuku. A wonderful piece. I would say that it is more like five pounds. Felt like it weighed less than a gallon of milk.

can you feel a big difference in performance with the enjuku unit?

Response will be better... and you'll have less drivetrain loss.
