rebuilding front calipers - getting the boots onto the pistons while mounted in the caliper, I have been at this for hours and only got one pot done.

I am ready to throw this caliper through a wall.

Anyone planning on rebuilding a caliper, allow for some time. It seems easy but fitting these rubber boots are causing me to become a very, very, very angry person.

EDIT: I should add that I ignored the sound advice from the FSM to remove my fingers from inside the caliper prior to blasting the pots out with air. That hurt really bad and bled heavy right away!

Yeah, the problem wasn't the boots, it was stretching them to fit over the piston while inserting the piston (WITHOUT unseating the boots).

Took forever, got it done. That was worse than the 30+ vacuum line job I did in January of '99 replacing the dual carb in my '90 prelude.
