For that price they must really think the mods add 2x their value to the car.
Yes, but why ask 20k over the base car? It's a journey package with nav which would list in the 39k range at the most. For 59k you could have all that gear + a TT setup and still have plenty of money left over.pfarmer wrote:

I took the time to build it.audtatious wrote:

MSRP for the car alone with the Nav and Premium Packages is $45k. Those stupid wheels retail for over $1300 a piece. The duraflex body kit is another grand plus $500 or so in paint. Stillen intake is $500. Eibachs and shocks are probably another $750-$1000.
The price is just about dead on if you were to buy it all retail.
Sad. Very sad.
Yeah.....The new automagic owners are really upset that their cars are faster than the 6mt's nowSentientbydesign wrote:

I'm more concerned about drivetrain loss and gear control than a few tenths of a second.audtatious wrote:

I like some body kits but they are rarely engineered in the same way as the factory panels. Often times there can be issues with cracking, etc. that most likely occurred with the factory panels during early design phases that were detected and then engineered out sometimes years in advance of the actual auto being released for sale. Most of the time you proably don't see this level with the body kits, especially when you consider they are usually created after the car has been released and no real time has take place for either the issues to really show up nor for the engineer fixes to take place.08.black.G37 wrote:I'd take the rims for sure!
Not a huge fan of body kits. They might look great when they are first installed, but seem to get distorted looking as they age. Like the hood I put on my Camaro has shrunk so much I can stick my finger between it and the fender.
Depends on how you drive those curvy roads. The auto wil certainly allow you to select and stay in any gear. To me the issue would be if one was trying to break traction for various reason.08.black.G37 wrote:Plus, there has to be some kind of credit for the stock rims/tires that were on the vehicle. I mean....that would be included in the price of the car.
Auto/manual....it is all owner's choice. If I drove cool curvy hilly roads everyday, I wouldn't even think of getting an auto. BUT! I drive 40 minutes, one way, from one traffice light to the other. I got sick of all that shifting.
Well first off I haven't really went to see if what we see in the pictures is all there is to the mods.audtatious wrote:
