Hi Guys- newbie here. Just picked up a 1985 King cab 4x4. Kinda beat but I can bring 'er back. I have to start with the seats though because it is tweaking my back just driving to the store with the broken down POS that is in there now. I am considering these:

and wondering if anyone knows what the bracket width is? It says 13-5/8 on these seats- will that work? or if anyone has used these and can comment? Thanks

The bracket width is only important if you need to pass inspection as they do in Australia. When I installed my sport seats heres what I did.

Drilled a piece of 1" by 1/8" flat bar for both front and rear and no problems since. I used the original holes for the inner runner.

The seats come only with the sliders- I have to use the existing brackets that I have now. I mount the new seats onto the stock brackets. This (above) looks like a good fix if I was using brackets that don't fit the existing holes, but I don't think it cures my situation?
