sorry guys for all these postings, but can anyone tell me how to be sure if I got ABS or not? I have the light in the dashboard, but im not sure. ty

If you have the light then you have ABS.My car has no ABS and no light lights up.

lol that sucks, it costed me 17k without taxes, I dont know for what, i got the alarm and the 100k/7year warranty, plaus the car for 17k

Well the warranty is good and also the gap insurance. At least I think so.
But those lies (transmission and abs) are not acceptable! When you get your Nissan survey in the mail nail one to the Agency who sold you the car and the person who "helped" you (maybe you can remember the name of that person).
I would also take it back to the agency and ask for a lower price or for a car that has CVT and ABS.

I do not have ABS, but I see the indentation, BUT it doesn't light up when I turn on the car. If yours does, maybe you do in fact have it?

My ABS light doesn't come on when I turn on the car either, but I know for sure my car has ABS.

Well, Nissan has hidden the ABS module very well on this car, I can't find it looking at the top of the engine bay. Anyone who has actually seen their ABS module, and can tell where to locate it, would be appreciated.
The other way to tell for sure probably won't work in Brooklyn, since you probably won't have anywhere to test it... but get up to about 30 MPH then hit the brakes as hard as you can.
If all you hear is screeching, the pedal feels consistent, and you possibly fishtail, then you don't have ABS.
If you don't hear screeching, or only some or intermittent screeching, and the pedal feels like it is pulsing or fighting you, then you have ABS.
